Thank you to Donna with dk photographic for shooting my family portraits. It's very rare that my family is in town all at the same time. So, when I knew everyone was going to be here around the holidays, I set a time for us to get together and take some family portraits. I called Donna and she jumped right on it. I was so thankful to have her there, taking control and providing my family with a wonderful time. The picture above is just one of the many photos she took that day. Thank you Donna!
David & Michelle Barson are married! Last night they celebrated their ceremony and reception at The Columbus Athenaeum. Their reception took place in the Large Theater which is such a unique and beautiful room. The Athenaeum staff did a great job working with all the guests and they even took care of the DJ's and photographers. I got to work with Banks Photography which help made the night successful. I always enjoy working with David & Karla Banks, they are two wonderful people that really love what they do. Remember, having vendors who care about you and your wedding will help make your day memorable and successful. Congratulations to David & Michelle Barson!

Lookout for our new photobooth coming soon! Coming this May will be the launch of our new custom designed photobooth. This booth will be great to rent for your upcoming wedding. Your guests will be able to experience one the most favorite past times!
I want to say a few words about some of the vendors I am so honored to work with. I work with some of the most talented photographers in some of the most upscale venues in Columbus. I feel that God has blessed me with these wonderful people whom I am able to share my wedding experiences with. I would like to mention a few names like Donald who is with the Columbus Museum of Arts, Andrea, Lauren and Colleen at Franklin Park Conservatory, Allison at The Lakes Country Club, Anne at the Columbus Athenaeum, Debi at Brookside Golf and Country Club, Dani at the Medallion Club, Judy at Royal American, Sara at the Corazon Spa, Michael at The Westin, Nicole at The Blackwell Hotel, Kristen at The Athletic Club and Michael at Worthington Hills. These Sales Directors/Coordinators are people who truly care about their clients which helps create the perfect wedding day.
I also would like to mention my photographer friends. Claudia with Aion Arts, Jim and Lara Hicks/Davis with Davis Photography, Donna and Andy with DK Photographic, Amy with C-Studios, David and Karla Banks with Banks Photography, Jim Sanders with Jim Sanders Photography, and Jon and Maria with IQ Foto. All of these photographers are very talented and I have much respect for them. They are also vendors who care about you and your wedding day and will provide you with incredible photos.
In addition people like Katie with The Cake Studio, Chris and Julie with Blue Skies Wedding Productions (videography) are just a couple more companies I feel honored to work with. Remember when you plan your wedding day, you want to hire companies who care about you, your visions and are able to give you the perfect wedding experience.

I wanted to post some comments regarding the 2008 Bridal Show. I'm always glad to be a part of such a wonderful event. This year we felt it was different for us. There wasn't as many brides-to-be, which made it easier for us to spend more time with each person who attended our booth. Another reason I enjoy these shows so much is because we are able to network with so many other vendors in the wedding industry. I think all the vendors really enjoy seeing each other. Thank you to all who visited our booth this year.
Hello to you and thank you for looking into the blog of Rob McDowell. I am excited to be posting upcoming blogs regarding Encore Entertainment and the weddings of our clients. 2007 was a successful year and 2008 has already surpassed last year. We are very pleased with where Encore Entertainment is going and how we are differing ourselves from our competition. I have four wonderful disc jockeys who are loyal to the company and are great friends of mine. I feel that God has blessed me with a great family, a great wife, great friends and a great business. I am looking forward to upcoming blogs and a blessed 2008.
